The Quectel QLM29HBAA-GM is a dual-band, multi-constellation GNSS smart antenna designed for accurate positioning and navigation applications. It supports GPS, QZSS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, and NavIC bands, with integrated RTK and dead reckoning (DR) functionality using an integrated IMU.

 

The antenna supports four concurrent GNSS constellations plus QZSS, with default support for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, and QZSS. It supports WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS, and GAGAN SBAS systems and provides horizontal positioning accuracy of 1m in autonomous operation and less than 0.1m + 1ppm with RTK. The integrated dead reckoning capability helps maintain positioning performance when GNSS signals are unavailable.

 

The QLM29HBAA-GM provides high sensitivity with acquisition sensitivity of -145dBm, tracking sensitivity of -165dBm, and reacquisition sensitivity of -157dBm. Its positioning functions support a maximum altitude of 10,000m, maximum velocity of 500m/s, and maximum acceleration of 4g. PVT update rates can be configured from 1Hz to 10Hz, while the IMU supports raw data updates up to 100Hz.

 

With NMEA 0183 and RTCM 3.x protocol support, optional RS-232 and USB interfaces, and a 5m cable, the antenna can be integrated into suitable positioning and navigation systems. Its IP67 rating and -40°C to +85°C operating temperature range make it suitable for demanding outdoor environments. Applications can benefit from accurate GNSS positioning, RTK precision, and DR positioning capabilities where continuous location information is required.
