Tired of unreliable wireless links that break your IoT projects? The RAK Nordic nRF52840 BLE Core Module for LoRaWAN with LoRa SX1262 gives you a single board that talks both Bluetooth Low Energy and LoRaWAN. It is built for developers who need long-range, low-power connectivity without juggling many chips. If you have been fighting with missed packets, short battery life, or complex wiring, this module solves those headaches in one compact package.
Many IoT nodes fail because the radio cannot reach far enough or drains the battery quickly. This matters when you place sensors in fields, factories, or remote meters where you cannot replace power often. The RAK module combines a powerful nRF52840 MCU with a high-gain SX1262 LoRa transceiver and BLE 5.0, delivering up to +22 dBm TX power, a 170 dB link budget and ultra-low sleep current. It also includes a TCXO for stable frequency and IPEX connectors for separate antennas, so you get reliable links in harsh industrial temperature ranges.
You can mount this module on a WisBlock base board and turn it into a smart-agriculture node that reports soil moisture over LoRaWAN while a technician configures it via BLE. The same hardware works for city-wide air-quality sensors, industrial equipment monitors, or asset-tracking tags that need both long-range uplink and nearby Bluetooth access. It also fits wildlife tracking collars, smart parking meters, and remote water-meter readers, giving you flexibility across many projects.

We are retiring PICOPC Products MNHO-073, MNHO-048 and MNHO-043 and they have reached EOL (End Of Life) as we are introducing new products with better technology. We would recommend you to look into MNHO-095. For Untangle, pfSense, OPNsense, Windows 11, Proxmox VE etc. we recommend MNHO-095 whereas for Sophos, Kerio Control and Endian, we would recommend MNHO-069. (A complete list of supported OS can be found in each product's listing)
