When a marine camera is exposed to changing daylight, darkness, spray, rain, and vibration, a standard indoor IP camera may not provide the environmental protection or image quality needed for reliable onboard monitoring. The Raymarine CAM210 is designed for marine surveillance, providing day and night imaging in a weather-resistant bullet-style housing.

Raymarine CAM210 2MP Sony CMOS Day & Night IP Bullet Camera

The Raymarine CAM210 is a 2MP day and night IP bullet camera built around a 1/2.8” Sony CMOS image sensor. It is designed to provide continuous visual monitoring where operators need a network camera that can capture scenes during both daylight and low-light conditions.

The camera provides 1952(H) x 1116(V) total pixels and supports video resolutions from the default 1280 x 720 up to 1920 x 1080 Full HD. This gives the camera enough image detail for monitoring areas around a vessel while allowing the video resolution to be selected according to the surveillance system requirements.

For network video systems, the CAM210 supports multi streaming using H.264 and MJPEG. This allows video streams to be integrated into compatible onboard monitoring and network infrastructure, making the camera suitable for applications where live camera feeds need to be viewed or distributed across a vessel's systems.

Marine installations can expose equipment to rain, water spray and difficult weather conditions. The CAM210 has IPX6 and IPX7 weatherproof ratings, helping protect the camera against water exposure. Its compact bullet form also makes it practical for installation in locations where a relatively small camera body is preferred.

The camera operates from a nominal 12 V dc supply and can also be powered through PoE Class 2 using 802.3af. With marine conformance including EN 60945:2002 and a compact 0.7 Kg unboxed weight, it is suited to onboard monitoring applications where dependable day and night IP video is required.
