Robustel MG460-A5AAZ-5G-A25GL, Quad Core Cortex-A53 5G Gateway
The Robustel MG460-A5AAZ-5G-A25GL is a 5G gateway designed to provide fast cellular connectivity, wired networking, serial communication, and industrial I/O in one compact platform. It uses a quad core Cortex-A53 processor running at 1.6 GHz, 4 GB DDR4 RAM, 64 GB eMMC flash, and an NPU with 2.3 TOPS performance. This hardware configuration supports demanding gateway and edge connectivity applications.
The gateway provides 5 x RJ45 Ethernet ports supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps and 1000BASE-T compliance, with ports configurable for LAN or WAN use. It also includes 2 x RS-232/RS422/RS-485 software configurable serial ports, allowing connection to different types of industrial and automation equipment. Two digital inputs and two relay output ports provide additional options for monitoring and control applications.
For wireless connectivity, the MG460 supports 5G and 4G cellular communication with multiple antenna connections and 2 x Mini SIM (2FF) slots. It also includes dual-band Wi-Fi with 2 × 2 MU-MIMO and support for IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax. GNSS functionality is provided through GPS, while a microSD slot, HDMI interface, USB ports, and console port add further connectivity options.
The gateway is designed for industrial installations with a metal housing, IP30 ingress protection, and operating temperatures from -30 ~ +70 °C. It supports desktop, wall mounting, and 35 mm DIN rail mounting. The power input is 24 V DC with reverse polarity protection and surge protection, while power consumption is specified as 6.24 W at idle and 14.64 W maximum at 24 V.
The Robustel MG460-A5AAZ-5G-A25GL supports a wide range of 5G NR, LTE, and WCDMA frequency bands. Its combination of 5G connectivity, Ethernet, serial interfaces, digital I/O, relay outputs, Wi-Fi, GNSS, and industrial mounting options makes it suitable for industrial networking, remote monitoring, edge connectivity, automation, and other connected applications.
