Robustel MG460-A5ZAZ-NU, Quad Core Cortex-A53, Maritime Cyber Security Gateway
The Robustel MG460-A5ZAZ-NU is a maritime cyber security gateway designed to provide secure networking, industrial communication, and remote management in demanding marine environments. It uses a quad core Cortex-A53 processor running at 1.6 GHz, with 4 GB DDR4 RAM and 64 GB eMMC flash. Its combination of Ethernet, serial, digital I/O, relay, Wi-Fi, and USB interfaces provides flexible connectivity for maritime systems.
The gateway includes 5 x RJ45 Ethernet ports supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps and 1000BASE-T compliance, with LAN or WAN functionality. It also provides 2 x software configurable RS-232/RS-485/RS-422 serial ports and a dedicated RS-232 console port. Two digital inputs and two relay outputs provide additional interfaces for monitoring and control equipment.
Wireless connectivity is provided through Wi-Fi with 2 x 2 MIMO and support for AP and Client modes. The gateway supports 802.11b/g/n/ac standards across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, along with WPA, WPA2, and WEP security. It also provides AES, TKIP, and WEP64 encryption and specified wireless data speeds of up to 867 Mbps at 5G and up to 300 Mbps at 2.4G.
The MG460-A5ZAZ-NU runs MG Core based on Debian 11 (bullseye) and supports programming languages including C, C++, Python, Java, and Node.js. Its software features include TCP, UDP, DHCP, ICMP, NAT, HTTP, HTTPs, ARP, NTP, Telnet, VLAN, SSH2, COS, QOS, lGMP Snooping, and lGMPProxy. Firewall functions include DMZ, anti-DoS, filtering, port mapping, and access control.
The gateway has a metal housing with IP30 ingress protection and supports desktop, wall mounting, and 35 mm DIN rail mounting. It operates from -30 ~ +70 °C with 5 ~ 95% RH non-condensing humidity and uses 24 V DC input with reverse polarity and surge protection. With maritime-oriented networking, cybersecurity, industrial interfaces, flexible software support, and a compact installation design, the MG460-A5ZAZ-NU is suitable for connected maritime and industrial gateway applications.
