The Romantis UHP-1000 Universal Satellite Router is designed for VSAT networks that need flexible satellite connectivity across different network topologies. It supports point-to-point, star, half mesh, and full mesh configurations, making it suitable for different satellite network architectures.

The UHP-1000 supports SCPC, TDM, and TDMA carrier modes for satellite data transmission. Its SCPC channel supports data rates from 250 kbps up to 86 Mbps, while the TDMA channel supports rates from 133 kbps up to 6.5 Mbps.

The router supports DVB-S and DVB-S2 technologies with QPSK and 8PSK modulation options. Multiple FEC rates and defined demodulator performance provide flexibility for different satellite link conditions and bandwidth requirements.

For network traffic management, the UHP-1000 provides 3-level traffic prioritization, adaptive 500-channel traffic shaping, and Committed Information Rate for TDMA operation. The router also supports DSCP, end-to-end VLAN, RIP, Layer 2 bridging, and CRTP.

The compact indoor unit provides Ethernet connectivity through a 10/100Base-T RJ-45 LAN interface, along with USB maintenance and satellite IF interfaces. With its compact 147 x 144 x 29 mm size and 530 g weight, the UHP-1000 is suitable for VSAT, enterprise networking, remote connectivity, and satellite communication applications.
