Sailproof SP08X, 6GB/128GB Android 16 8" Rugged Tablet with Waterproof Charging is an 8-inch rugged tablet designed for marine navigation, outdoor fieldwork, industrial operations, transportation, and other demanding professional environments. The bright 1000 nits display provides clear visibility outdoors, while Gorilla Glass 3rd generation, anti-glare and anti-fingerprint coating, wet and glove touch support, and polarized sunglasses compatibility help provide convenient operation in challenging conditions.

The tablet is powered by an MTK octacore 64-bit MT-6877 processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. Android 16 GMS certification provides access to compatible applications, while Over The Air OS upgrades and security updates help maintain the software over time. This makes the SP08X suitable for navigation applications, field data collection, communication, inspection, and other professional mobile tasks.

The 9800 mAh Li-ion battery supports extended operation, with up to 20 hours of autonomy depending on usage. Dual Frequency GNSS supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, QZSS, and NaviC for positioning and navigation applications. WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and 2G/3G/4G/5G connectivity provide flexible options for accessing data, communicating, and staying connected in the field.

The rugged construction is designed for demanding environments, with IP67 certification and MIL-STD-810G certification with a 1.2 m droptest rating. Built-in sensors including the G-sensor, gyroscope, geomagnetic field sensor, distance sensor, light sensor, and air pressure sensor support navigation and application-specific requirements. Two customizable keys also provide quick access to frequently used functions.

The Sailproof SP08X includes MicroSD, SIM, USB-C, USB-A, POGO pin, and DC jack connectivity for flexible storage, charging, and peripheral use. Its compact design and VESA-Mount compatibility make it suitable for marine navigation, outdoor inspection, logistics, transportation, industrial field service, and other applications where a rugged and portable Android tablet is required. The optional waterproof charging configuration further supports installations requiring 9~36V power input.
