The Seagate Exos ST32000NM004K is a 32TB enterprise internal hard drive designed for high-capacity data center, server, and storage environments. It features a 3.5-inch form factor, 7200 RPM spindle speed, and SATA 6Gb/s interface for reliable high-capacity storage.
The drive uses Conventional Magnetic Recording (CMR) technology and a helium sealed-drive design. With a 512MB multi-segmented cache and a maximum sustained transfer rate of 285 MB/s, it provides consistent performance for demanding enterprise storage workloads.
The ST32000NM004K supports 24x7 operation and is rated for a 2,500,000-hour MTBF. It also provides a non-recoverable read error rate of 1 sector per 10^15 bits read and a 0.35% annualized failure rate at full 24x7 operation.
