For industrial installations where a computer has to operate continuously in a compact space, moving parts and cooling fans can become a maintenance concern. The Seatronx MPC-101-J1900-SE is designed as a rugged fanless system that provides industrial computing, dual Gigabit Ethernet, serial communication, multiple display options, and flexible expansion in a small enclosure.

The Seatronx MPC-101-J1900-SE is a compact rugged fanless system built around the Intel Celeron J1900 quad-core processor. Its fanless design eliminates the need for an active cooling fan, making the system suitable for installations where reduced mechanical components and compact construction are important. The system can be used for industrial control, monitoring, automation, and other embedded computing requirements.

The system supports up to 8 GB of DDR3L memory through a 204-pin SODIMM slot and includes an AMI 64Mbit SPI BIOS with software-programmable watchdog functionality. For storage, it provides an mSATA interface that shares its connection with one of the Mini PCI Express slots. Two external SIM sockets and two full-size Mini PCI Express slots provide additional flexibility for cellular or wireless connectivity configurations.

For industrial communication, the MPC-101-J1900-SE provides two RS-232/422/485 serial ports and two Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports using Intel I210-AT chipsets. The Ethernet interfaces support Wake-on-LAN and PXE, while USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports provide additional connectivity for peripherals and equipment. Mic-in, line-out, WiFi antenna holes, a remote power connector, and power controls further support integration into industrial systems.

The system can drive DVI and VGA displays using the specified optional split cable and supports dual display operation through DVI-D and VGA. Its compact 150 x 105 x 37 mm enclosure makes it suitable where installation space is limited. Wall mounting is provided as standard, with side, VESA, and DIN-Rail mounting available as optional mounting methods.

The MPC-101-J1900-SE is designed for demanding operating environments, with an operating temperature range of -25 °C to 70 °C and storage temperature from -30 °C to 85 °C. Its extruded aluminum and heavy-duty metal construction, vibration and shock specifications, and power protection features support use in industrial installations. The system accepts 9 to 48VDC and includes over-voltage, over-current, and reverse protection, providing a flexible platform for industrial computing applications.
