Smartoptics DCP-R-9D-CS Coherent Optimized 9-Degree OpenROADM Models
The Smartoptics DCP-R-9D-CS is a 1RU 9-Degree Flex ROADM and 40-channel open line system designed for ring and meshed networks. It supports both NRZ and coherent optical transmission for flexible DWDM deployments.
The system supports NRZ with dispersion limited by the selected optics and coherent QPSK, 8QAM, and 16QAM encodings. It also supports 400ZR, making it suitable for high-speed coherent optical connectivity.
The front panel provides 40 DWDM client channels from D921 to D960, one line input/output port, three add-drop/cross connect ports, and one MPO-based add-drop/cross connect port with 5 add and 5 drop WSSs. All specified optical ports use LC connectors, with status LEDs for client, cross-connect, and line activity.
Management is available through CLI, SSH, SNMPv2c, SNMPv3, NETCONF, NTP, SFTP, Syslog, RADIUS, and TACACS+. Traffic hitless software upgrades are supported, with the information specified as valid from Release R8.1.1.
The 1RU chassis measures 440mm x 510mm and weighs 10 Kg. It includes two hot-swappable power supplies and a redundant hot-swappable fan unit, with front-to-back cooling and operation from 0° C to +45° C at 5% to 85% humidity.
