The Topicon MDT864, 4GB/64GB, 1280 x 800 pixels 8" Rugged Industrial Tablet is designed for mobile computing in industrial and professional environments where durability, connectivity, and dependable operation are important. Its 8-inch IPS panel provides 1280 x 800 pixel resolution with capacitive multi-touch support for glove, wet, and stylus operation. Powered by a 2.0GHz Octa Core Processor with 4GB LPDDR4X memory and 64GB eMMC storage, the MDT864 provides a practical platform for Android-based applications. It runs Android 14 with GMS or Non-GMS and includes a user-accessible MicroSD card slot supporting up to 512GB. This combination gives users useful capacity for business applications, digital forms, operational records, documents, and other field data while maintaining a compact rugged tablet format.

The MDT864 provides multiple connectivity options for mobile and connected operations. It supports 2G GSM, 3G WCDMA, and 4G LTE communication, along with GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO positioning. Dual-band wireless LAN supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, while Bluetooth V5.0 enables wireless connections with compatible devices and peripherals. Optional Ethernet support through the cradle provides an additional wired networking option for applications requiring a physical network connection.

For industrial data collection and monitoring, the tablet features a 20MP rear camera, optional 1D and 2D imagers, NFC support, and optional video input for AHD 720P, 1080P, and analog cameras.
