The unit supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) on the 5 GHz band and offers a full suite of IEEE 802.11a/n/ac standards.

The UDB-Pro includes a Gigabit Ethernet port and a PoE+ output, allowing you to power a remote access point, camera, or other network device directly from the bridge. With an IPX6 rating, the enclosure resists heavy rain and dust, while the polycarbonate and stainless-steel construction ensures durability from -40 °C to 60 °C. Power consumption stays low at 9 W, and the device can be powered from 48 V PoE or a DC source between 42.5 V and 57 V.

Usage

Mount the UDB-Pro on a pole or mast using the included brackets, point the antenna toward the partner bridge, and let the auto-alignment wizard handle the rest. Once linked, you can extend your UniFi Wi-Fi network by connecting an outdoor access point to the PoE output, creating a seamless wireless backhaul for campuses, hotels, or rural sites. Monitoring and configuration are handled through the UniFi Controller, giving you real-time insight into signal strength, throughput, and power status.
