The Westermo Lynx 3510-F2G2.5-T8G-LV is a 10-port industrial Layer 2 switch that combines eight 10/100/1000 Mbit/s RJ-45 Ethernet ports with two 2.5 Gbit/s SFP ports. This port combination provides standard copper connectivity for industrial devices while offering higher-speed SFP connections for suitable network links.

The switch also includes practical management and service interfaces. Its USB-C console can emulate a serial port at 115200 bps, while the Micro SD interface uses Secure Digital 2.0. One digital input and one digital output are provided through screw terminals, giving the switch additional interfaces for industrial system integration and monitoring.

Network traffic can be organized using up to 64 VLANs and 8 priority queues. These functions help structure industrial Ethernet networks and manage traffic priorities when different types of connected equipment share the same network infrastructure. The Layer 2 switching architecture makes the unit suitable for connecting devices within an industrial Ethernet network.

The Lynx 3510-F2G2.5-T8G-LV is designed for demanding installation environments with a full-metal, ultra-robust IP40 housing. It operates from 9.6 to 60 VDC, with a rated voltage of 12 to 48 VDC. Its wide operating temperature range of -40 to +70°C and storage and transport range of -40 to +85°C support installations where network equipment can experience significant temperature variation.
