The Westermo RedFox-5328-F4G-T24-LV is an industrial Layer 2 rackmount switch designed for larger industrial Ethernet networks. It provides 24 copper RJ-45 ports supporting 10/100 Mbit/s and four SFP ports supporting 100/1000 Mbit/s. This combination allows multiple Ethernet devices to connect through copper while providing SFP interfaces for compatible network connections.
The switch uses Westermo WeOS software and supports 64 VLANs with 8 priority queues. These switching capabilities help organize network traffic and separate different network segments within an industrial installation. The included micro USB console provides an interface for local access to the switch.
