The ZTE G5 Pro MC8512 is an indoor 5G CPE router designed for high-speed fixed wireless access (FWA) connectivity. It uses the MTK-T830 processor and supports 5G NR connectivity across N1, N3, N5, N8, N28, N41, and N78 bands, with NR carrier aggregation and ENDC support.

The router supports 4G LTE bands B1, B3, B5, B8, B34, B39, B40, and B41. Its 4 × 4 MIMO configuration supports N1, N3, N5, N8, N41, and N78, while NR 4CC broadband supports up to 300 MHz bandwidth. The specified 5G SA performance reaches up to 4.29 Gb/s download and 320 Mb/s upload speeds.

For wireless networking, the MC8512 features Wi-Fi 7 with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be support and a BE7200 Wi-Fi rate. It supports tri-band 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz operation with 4 × 4 MIMO on each band, along with Band Steering, DL OFDMA, MU-MIMO, BSS Coloring, TWT, EasyMesh, and MLO.

The ZTE Smart Antenna 5.0 provides antenna gain of up to 13 dBi in directional operation and up to 4 dBi in omni-directional operation. The router also provides two TS-9 external antenna ports, allowing compatible external antennas to be connected when required.

For wired connectivity, the router provides two 2.5GE LAN ports and one Type-C USB 3.1 interface. It also supports NFC one-touch connection and a 4FF SIM card. With support for up to 256 users, the MC8512 is designed for high-density indoor wireless networking applications.
